Meet Our Staff
Melissa Powers
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, a Paralegal Certificate, and a Maryland Real Estate Salesperson license. She was the office manager and head of player support services at her husband’s professional baseball agency. After the agency closed, she took a position as an executive/litigation legal assistant to the Office Managing Member at an international law firm.
In 2016, Melissa and her husband moved to Florida, where she shifted her focus to the health and wellness industry after decades in high-stress environments and witnessing the impact of stress on individuals. She is a certified Health and Wellness Coach through the Health Coach Institute, accredited by the International Coach Federation. Additionally, she earned a Health Mindset Certification from KJO Coaching, training directly under founder Casey Jo Orvidas, Ph.D. Recently, she became a certified coach through This Naked Mind, specializing in guiding individuals exploring their relationship with alcohol.
Melissa and her husband, Mike, reside in the Orlando area. She is a proud step parent to four adult children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys CrossFit, yoga, various outdoor activities, and is an animal lover at heart.
Jawn Oilar
Jawn Oilar is the COO at Negentex Primary Care. Before joining the company, he spent over 30 years in the Army, specializing in direct healthcare and military healthcare operations. More recently, he worked for Maxim Healthcare where he was the director of their nationwide corporate health and wellness division. Starting his career as a surgical technician, combat medic and later a practical nurse, he developed specialized wellness and healthcare delivery practices that improved military readiness and improved patient outcomes. Before retiring from the Army, he was part of a small leadership team charged with the training and education of over 30,000 soldiers in over 360 training and education programs.
As Director of Corporate Health and Wellness for Maxim Healthcare, Jawn continued to make a difference improving efficiencies and outcomes. One program charged with decreasing patient readmission rates was credited with saving the University of Maryland Health System millions of dollars.
Jawn obtained his undergraduate degree from Excelsior College in Business and Administration and his graduate degree from Central Michigan University in Public Administration. Jawn also obtained his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a graduate certificate in project management from Syracuse University.
On his free time, Jawn is an avid hiker who recently completed the 567 mile Colorado trail.
